Facebookin' It.

Finally got around to opening up a Facebook account.  Believe it or not, I've never had one.

Actually tried Facebook for 2 days back in 2008 but to me, it was very similar to Myspace (had one for 5 years before I had enough and decided to delete it), but I understand it's part of our Speech assignments.  If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't have one. I've had friends and family bugging me to open one but always told them, "Nah, I'm good." By all means, I'm not antisocial.  I happen to be a very friendly person and pretty much get along with everyone I come across. I'm just not a fan of complicated social networks, in my opinion, Facebook seems complicated.  Lol.

Also, I don't like spending too much time in front of the computer (I do that enough with my school work) and from what I've been told, Facebook is addicting. May have to invest in a very cushiony, comfortable computer chair. Who knows, maybe once I get into the swing of things, I just might end up keeping the account open long term.
Don't bet on it though. Ha!

First Blog. Ever.

Hello People

I am totally new to this whole blogging thingamajig, seems harmless for the most part.
I'm sure some are wondering about my blog name. Well, some people like to call me Ana Banana (typical) so, thought I'd change it up a bit and dub myself Ana Plantain instead. Heh.
I'm fairly easy to get along with, I'm laidback and try to enjoy life as much as possible.  After all, we only live once, right? I have a wonderful husband and 2 amazing daughters who complete me, there's never a dull moment with them around.
Also, I laugh alot.

I guess I'll sign off for now. Happy blogging, people. :)
